Pet Shop Boy

I was born to be the first child of Koombhongse pronounce KOOM-PONG family at Siriraj hospital, Thonburi. Then my parent moved to Din-Daeng, Bangkok. I grow up there.
Both of my parents work for Thai military, my father is in the navy and my mother is in the army. In fact, most of my relatives work for thai military. I have only one younger brother, Neti (formerly Dusit). We grow up in an apartment filled with disciplines and commands from my father. I'm not sure if this can make us a self discipline persons or not. My father had been sent to patrol the Mekong River, Thai-Laos border, in Nongkhai province for almost 12 years. He can visit us once a month. Most of the time my mother takes care of my brother and I.
I attended Prompan Wittaya school until I graduated 6th grade. This school divided into 2 campus; boy and girl. Therefore, all of my friends at school are boys.

Teenage Fan Club

I attended Suankularb Wittayalai school after I graduated 6th grade. Suankularb had shaped me to become a new person; more self confident with leadership. I am not a shy boy anymore. Here I join the Boy scout club because I like to go camping since the primary school. Here, I understand the meaning of friendship. I have a wonderful time at this school. Anyhow, Suankularb is all male school. It means I spend 12 years in male-only school, so I rarely have woman friend and I have no idea how to be friend with woman. Maybe "man and woman can't be friend"---Billy Crystal in "When Harry met Sally!!! At grade 11th, I heard "You Give Love a Bad Name" by Bon Jovi during new year party at my high school. It makes me crazy about Heavy Metal since then.
After graduated from Suankularb, I pass entrance exam to study in Business and Administration department at Thammasat University and I pass direct exam to study in Industrial Chemistry at King 's Mongkut Institute of Technology North Bangkok. I think, I have no idea about business and there are lots of beautiful girls at Thammasat which make me feel uncomfortable, so I decided to attend KMIT'N. When I was a sophomore, I'm sick of Heavy Metal and want to hear something new. Then I become a Brit pop fan. While studying at KMIT'N, I work for the Applied Science Student Club and become head of Rural Development Volunteer Camp and president of the club in my junior and senior year respectively. Again, I have lots of good friends who stand by me and help me get through thick and thin.

Mr. Big

After graduation, I had worked for the National Metal and Materials Technology Center [MTEC] as a research assistant. Here, I met my ex-wife, Ooh. I had worked at MTEC for one and a half year, then I got a scholarship from the Ministry of Science Technology and Environment to study in the U.S. In fact, I applied for studying in Forestry Resource Management at Dept. of Environment, Dept. of Polymer Engineering, The University of Akron Ohio. I did research work in Dr.Cakmak group on "Phase Behavior and Morphology of SAN/PMMA under High Flow Rates".
Before I go to the U.S., I have the picture of U.S., like other Thais, mostly from Hollywood movies. Well, sometimes you can get the wrong idea just watching the movie. After 5 years in Ohio, I've learn a lot about American culture and freedom of speech. I think due to the isolationism and Christianity that make American people be what they are today. Most of my American friends are nice and friendly. However there are many American who has no idea what their government did to other country. Their meaning of "The WORLD" are much smaller than other.
